Wind Watching

Description

"Stand at the edge of our world, facing the vast see of tempest veiled yellow yellow, and attest that in the vicious winds that there is no deeper meaning. Peer into them, and tell me that you see naught but chaos"

The dry eyed wind watchers, like the Stone Watchers, believe that truth is etched into the natural world. In their eyes the truth in stone can never be of any use, as it has been frozen in time, perpetually outdated. To know the truth of the now one must look to the ever changing wind.

Like their pebble peeping peers the Wind Watchers have varying practies. Some travel accross the perimiter of the world, hoping to gain an entire understanding of the world by beholding all winds. Others hold the wind of a particular direction sacred. A small collection of them erect towers over the thick woods of Bresmer and observe the ever changing pattern of the winds in the treetops.

Due to their habits of contructing towers and attempting to enter the forbidden zone in search of just the right wind, these Watchers are considered the more extreme of the two.

History

Recently the Mountain King sent a proclemation out accross the lands that he had mastered the art of Wind Watching, and subsequently had come to know the truth of the present.
